Jim has been an independent producer at Animus Films since starting the company three years ago. At Animus, he produced the acclaimed documentary YEAR OF THE BULL, which aired on Showtime. He also has served as an Executive Producer on the sports reality show, DUFF CHALLENGE, for the Golf Channel and Fox Sports. Jim is currently developing many other projects with independent companies including The Mark Gordon Company, Relativity Media, Benderspink, Ruby Films, Tollin/Robbins Productions, National Geographic, Underground Films, Untitled Entertainment, and Pressman Films. Animus recently wrapped production on the teen thriller HOMECOMING, directed by Morgan J. Freeman and starring Mischa Barton. Previously, Jim was a Creative Associate at actor Bill Paxton’s American Entertainment Company. Here, he worked on the production of the film FRAILTY (Matthew McConaughey), released by Lion’s Gate. Jim also worked on the development of various projects for studios including Universal, Disney, Revolution, Screen Gems, and HBO. Jim attended New York University, where he majored in Dramatic Literature.
